Hi! I'm so glad you're here!
I'm Alexis, and I'm a queer, neurodivergent therapist.

It takes courage to admit that life is hard, and it takes guts to ask for support when it's too much to handle alone. I believe you deserve to do more than survive - you deserve to thrive. I know you're capable of thriving, you just need the tools and space to get there.

Therapy is a powerful place for transformation and liberation. You're already taking the first step towards the YOU you're made to be. Let's break down the things holding you back and build up the strengths to step into your power.

In therapy, we can say goodbye to shame, anxiety, depression, doubt, and that pesky inner critic. Then, we'll have the space to embrace pride, confidence, joy, optimism, and your whole, beautiful, magical self. Ready? You got this!

ABOUT ME
My favorite thing in life is exploring the curious contradictions of being a human. I've always been fascinated by our unique experiences and way they inform our beliefs about ourselves and our world. I was diagnosed with ADHD as an adult and try to honor the challenges of not fitting into a neurotypical world as well as celebrating my superpowers of pattern recognition, hyperfocus, and creativity. I've struggled with body image, perfectionism, burnout, anxiety, and depression - so yes, I get it!
THERAPEUTIC PHILOSOPHY
You don't need to be "fixed," and you aren't broken. We live in a complicated, often painful world, and we aren't given a manual on how to move from surviving to thriving. Therapy is a space for us to get curious, transform limiting beliefs, and heal the parts of us that are hurting. You're the expert of your life, and my role is to support you in building the life of your dreams. We all have a unique story to tell and with mindful introspection we become empowered to write a beautiful ending.
Supervision
I'm under the clinical supervision of Patrick Bryant, LCSW, CCH (GA CSW004964).
